Three years ago today I started this blog, so happy birthday Hip Chick Digs!
I was ready to revolutionize the yard at our new house. The front and back yard was covered in grass and I intended to replace it all with an edible landscape. After reading about permaculture techniques, I was all hot-to-trot on implementing those in my small urban space.
It was only a few years ago when I couldn’t find any good information online – no pictures of other people’s grass-less yards or personal accounts of their challenges and triumphs with it. So I decided to create my own online resource and hopefully inspire and influence some new friends along the way.
Things have slowed down a bit with graduate school this year and a few other exciting projects I have been working on, but I am still here digging away! Thanks for joining me for the ride.
