It’s been almost a week since my last post and it grates on me to go that long without writing. Unfortunately, it has been a really tough week at my day job. I do a relatively good job of not bringing work home with me, meaning I don’t think about it once I leave the office. But this week I couldn’t escape it.
Although things are getting back to normal, I have the evidence of that stress all around me: blueberries just sitting untouched on the counter from last Friday, vegetables that need watering, clothes that need to be washed, and poor Jay that I would love to have a conversation with about something other than my work. I haven’t planned a lot this weekend so I can play catch up on everything else in my life.
I think this has become a short post in itself, and there are so many other fun things I want to share. So I will wrap this explanation of my absence up and get back to business.
